Night Shift

The Church building is a warm place to go each Friday between 11pm and 3am.
It was the idea of a policeman to bring Night Shift to Chippenham and they really do appreciate the calming effect the church has on its visitors.
'Little things' such as taking hot drinks to taxi marshals warm people's hearts as well as their bodies and again extends the welcoming reach of the church.

Conversations can range from chit-chat, understanding and listening, to being more spiritual!
Night shift is blessed with a handful of volunteers each bringing a very much-appreciated contribution,
both by the team itself, but much more by the local community.
Some nights there are not enough helpers .........
